Santa Lucia Del Trampal (Spain)

WATCH THE REST OF MY PHOTOGRAPHS TO ENJOY THE COMPLETE SERIES OF THE CHURCH

The church of Santa Lucia del Trampal, the ninth century, located in the municipality of Alcuéscar in the province of Caceres, is a unique example of Moorish architecture, ordering its head with three rectangular chapels open a transept. The three chapels, parallel and covered with horseshoe vault like ship, have no common walls, these being independent, so that the spaces between sections generate chapels in the transept, which extends beyond them, with seven sections. The two intermediate sections and the two ends are covered with vault with horseshoe, while the sections off the chapels, the walls extend above the vaults described.
