How do I use Canva to edit my template?

• In order to access this design template, you must first create a FREE Canva account.
• If you don’t have Adobe Reader, download it here for FREE (https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/pdf-reader.html) to open the PDF document which includes your Canva template link.
• Open the PDF file, then click the link to be taken to Canva. In Canva, you can edit anything and everything you want.
• ONLY use your desktop or laptop to edit your resume. DO NOT use your mobile phone.

Can I also use the templates commercially?

How do I unlock items on Canva?

Some of the backgrounds are locked to ensure you can edit the text without accidentally moving key elements. Simply click the lock symbol on the element you want to move in order to unlock it.

What is Canva.com and is Canva really free?

Canva is one of the most famous and most used web design tools in the world. Best of all, you can create designs for free without having to download anything. All you need is a laptop, the internet, and the desire to create something amazing.

Canva won't save my edits, why?

Please only use the Canva link in your purchased PDF the FIRST TIME. Every time after that, open the resume from your personal Canva account and edit from there.

Is Canva compatible with Microsoft Word, Pages & Google Docs?

The vast majority of employers want you to send your resume as a PDF, which is why Canva offers to option to save it in that format. Canva CANNOT be used with Microsoft Word, Pages, or Google Docs. You must use the web editor and, therefore, need an internet connection.

ONLY use your desktop or laptop to edit your resume. DO NOT use your mobile phone.

How do I save my template in PDF?

Once you are happy with the finished design, click SHARE at the top right corner of the Canva page, then click DOWNLOAD. On this screen, you can pick PDF as your download format, and then save it wherever you want.
