Hand-Drawn Ink Museum Icons

This set of museum icons was inspired by Edgar Allan Poe and his writing. Poe was known for his writing and dark stories that he told. Therefore the design element of ink splatters and spots was used to emphasize his writing. The design also has an eerie and mysterious feel while also looking clean and sophisticated.

  • This set contains 9 vector ink splatter icons which represent the categories of manuscripts, furniture, memorabilia, photography, fine art, personal items, first editions, library, and garden. those are just suggestions on how to use them, they can represent anything you want and can be used for any kind of project
  • The set also comes with BONUS items which are 2 different ink frame borders (great for stationery, business cards, header graphics, invitations, flyers and much more!), and 4 hand drawn Edgar Allan Poe inspired ink illustrations (cat, raven, quill, and heart).

Need some inspiration on how to apply these elements? Check out my preview photos!

Files Included:

  • Illustrator Files: CS4, CS5, CS6 & CC (for icons, frame borders and illustrations)
  • EPS: individual and combined EPS files for the museum icons, frame borders, and Poe illustrations note: must have illustrator 17 and above to access and edit these
