10 Compass Roses

10 compass roses for the mapping enthusiast. These star-bursts / sun-bursts are perfect for architectural plans, cartographic projects and RPG maps ... just add the text for the cardinal points (N, S, E, W, etc) in a font to match the rest of your map/plan, and its ready to go. Or, of the fancy takes you, they can be used as decorative elements for whatever your imagination can come up with. Use them as-is, or deconstruct, reconstruct, re-shape, recolour, etc...

Each of the 10 designs are provided in 3 different ways: Clean Vector -all straight edges and sharp corners (the original piece). 'Hand Drawn' -these have been rasterised and then traced in Illustrator to create a softer hand drawn look. Sample Fill -I couldn't resist having a play with them to see what sort of effects could be created by filling the various parts of each rasterised design in different ways.

All 30 designs are grouped into one Vector document (.ai, .eps, .pdf) - no layers, no open paths. They are also provided as transparent .png objects - half in each of two files (each rose = about 2000px diameter) .

Download zip file includes: Ai8 .ai Ai8 .eps .pdf 2 X .png files (large)
