Tattooers Old English Font
About
Classic, clean, legible Old English Tattoo style font. Looks great in a gazillion different uses from your Lowrider Club to your belly-rocker tattoo, use as a mask or to create simple, letter-design or monogram style logos. This font is designed to be clear and readable from a distance to make it withstand the gradual degrading of outlines over time...just like it should when its applied to skin! All the Old English font styles I have found have always been too complicated, like the designers ego gets in the way, leaving it too busy and hard to read. The goal with this font was to find a balance between the classic, fancy calligraphy a distinctly strong and precise letterset.
Included is an uppercase, lowercase and number set. All ready for you to get creative and add your own flair. This font will do so much of the work for you! I have included the entire set as a vector .Ai file so you can change it up if you so please! Looks great on just about anything, storefronts, motorcycles, motorcycle jackets, clothing, t-shirts and of course tattoos!! The blocky style is offset by some nice whipped out lines and curves here and there...but never too much to interfere with its gangsterability.
Old english tattoo lettering spans so many cultures in tattooing from Olde Britannia to modern Chicano styles- you can find a use for this just about anywhere.
I was taught to draw old english lettering this way from one of my mentors and I'm happy to finally have it available to share in the digital realm...for both of us! I have been using it nonstop since it was complete. I'm not only the Tattooers Old English creator...I'm also a client.
In the package is Otf, Ttf and Woff and a vector .Ai file of the original line work
