AlphaPNG - file format

Live Preview

Standard Photoshop file format doesn't support semi-transparent palette for 8bit PNG. But sometime for Web design, UI or games you need to have a lot of semi-transparent images and file sizes are important.

AlphaPNG solves this problem!

Now you can save semi-transparent images with semi-transparent tones and an alpha-channel in 8-bit (and less) PNG format! AlphaPNG lets you choose your ideal color palette (RGB or Greyscale) and automatically optimizes it using our True-Color algorithm to convert your images into high quality indexed color PNG images with optimal dithering and optimized palettes. Save semi-transparent images in 8-bit PNG format.

  • You can make 8bit(and less) PNG with semi-transparent palette

  • True-Color algorithm intelligently converts full-color images into indexed color.

  • Friendly and intuitive user interface.

  • Easy to install and use.

  • It is windows only plug-in (32 and 64 bits)
