DC Comics Super Heroes and Their Pantone Colors

I am a huge fan of comic books and have been for years. When it comes to the age-old debate of Marvel vs. DC, I come down as neutral as Switzerland; Batman is awesome, and so is Spider-man. No worries.

Delving into comic book history is just a bonus, and seeing cool behind-the-scenes stuff like this is even cooler. It's the DC Comics Style Guide from 1982, and it's just awesome. Each page shows characters in all sorts of states, with the idea being that these become their definitive images for artist reference. They also have Pantone color swatches for each hero (and villain), so the colorist knows what to do. It's pretty awesome stuff.
