But for those of us who don&#8217;t live with those restrictions, it can be hard to understand what it must be like for those that do.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d3ui957tjb5bqd.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/2015\/07\/08231508\/dyslex-1.jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"1020\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25620\"><br \/>\nIn response to this, Dan Britton, a designer based in London, created a typeface that simulates what it&#8217;s like to live with dyslexia. Britton suffers from dyslexia himself, and wanted to show the world what it&#8217;s like to have the condition, both in an emotional and physical level.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d3ui957tjb5bqd.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/2015\/07\/08231511\/dyslex-2.jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"962\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25621\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d3ui957tjb5bqd.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/2015\/07\/08231514\/dyslex-3.jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"962\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25622\"><br \/>\nLogistically, the typeface starts with Helvetica, and then gets cut up from there. Approximately 40 percent of each character is removed, which is enough to recognize them, but still be on the fringes of legible and illegible.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d3ui957tjb5bqd.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/2015\/07\/08231517\/dyslex-4.jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"962\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25625\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d3ui957tjb5bqd.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/2015\/07\/08231521\/dyslex-5.jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"962\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25626\"><br \/>\nThe results are both moving and beautiful. But ultimately, they show those without dyslexia what challenges those that do have it go through on a regular basis.
