Of course you have. We all have gone through that at one point or another, so it&#8217;s no surprise that someone as famous as, say, Leonardo DaVinci would have a rough draft or two in their history, right? Sure. Sounds reasonable. Well, as one scientist is asserting, it turns out that one of his rough drafts is sitting underneath the famous Mona Lisa painting, and he&#8217;s gone so far as to have it reproduced.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d3ui957tjb5bqd.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/2015\/12\/10004757\/mona-lisa-001.jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"391\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-31639\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d3ui957tjb5bqd.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/2015\/12\/10004801\/mona-lisa-002.jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"454\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-31643\"><br \/>\nAccording to a recent article in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/entertainment-arts-35031997\">BBC News<\/a>, French scientist Pascal Cotte has been analyzing the iconic work of art for over 10 years using reflective light technology. He says:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;We can now analyse exactly what is happening inside the layers of the paint and we can peel like an onion all the layers of the painting. We can reconstruct all the chronology of the creation of the painting.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d3ui957tjb5bqd.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/2015\/12\/10004806\/mona-lisa-003.jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"473\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-31641\"><\/p>\n<p>\nSure, I&#8217;m a little bit skeptical. I mean, there&#8217;s no definitive way for us to prove this theory, because it&#8217;s not like we&#8217;re going to go tearing into the Mona Lisa to find out.
