Here&#8217;s the video announcing the change:<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/166138104?byline=0&amp;portrait=0\" width=\"680\" height=\"383\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen=\"\" mozallowfullscreen=\"\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nAnd another post explaining it to the community:<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/166112315?byline=0&amp;portrait=0\" width=\"680\" height=\"383\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen=\"\" mozallowfullscreen=\"\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nThey also changed the logos for all of their products to match (Layout, Boomerang and Hyperlapse), and here they are:<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d3ui957tjb5bqd.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/2016\/05\/11005532\/instagram-01.jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"189\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-36163\"><br \/>\nThis is all very fresh news, as Instagram <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.instagram.com\/post\/144198429587\/160511-a-new-look\">just announced the change earlier today on their blog<\/a>. So we don&#8217;t know who designed the logo, how it came to be, why it was changed or any of that good info. All we know is that this new logo \u00e2\u20ac\u201d which also applies to the app icon you&#8217;ll see on your mobile phone \u00e2\u20ac\u201d steers away from the skeumorphic approach that we had before, and keeps things super simple. Also, the colors that were previously in the upper left-hand corner of the app icon are now integrated into the rainbow seen in the background of the new one.<br \/>\nWhat does the community at large think about the change?
