Before we do, however, let’s go over some of the basics of installing these themes once you’ve downloaded them:\n

<\/span>Installing a Keynote theme<\/span><\/h2>

\nFollow these simple steps to install and customize a new Keynote template:\n<\/p>

    \n
  1. Install any required fonts. If you don’t, the template will look odd and certain layout elements might fall out of place<\/li>\n
  2. Open the .key file included in the folder. Make sure it’s compatible with your version of Keynote.<\/li>\n
  3. You’ll get a number of predesigned slides with various elements to play with: icons, chart types, text layouts with different columns, photo compositions, among others. Save a copy of the original (template) Keynote and delete the slide layouts you won’t be using.<\/li>\n
  4. If you want to tweak the entire template, go to your Navigator pane on the right and click on Format → Edit Master Slide<\/li>\n
  5. Edit copy and images to your liking and save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>
