At Creative Market, our community members are core to who we are. We make it a point to keep in touch with and work with our community members on a regular basis. One of our teams here, the Community Team, plays an extra special role in making sure that happens.\nWith over two million members in the Creative Market community, we thought it was time to bring a new staff member on board the Creative Market community team to help us with this important work! After a bit of searching, we’ve found the perfect fit. Everyone, meet An Vu<\/a>. You’ll be hearing a lot from An as she starts joining in community discussions and spotlighting awesome shops in the near future. So, let’s take a few minutes to spotlight her!\n

<\/span>Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do for Creative Market.<\/span><\/h2>

\nI’m a product of California with deep roots in Texas. My family and friends would describe me as a little ball of energy that doesn’t know what tired is. I live for adventures, puns, the great outdoors, and anything that gets my blood rushing. As a community specialist at Creative Market, I grow and strengthen the community by developing personal relationships with our members and helping them with any concerns or questions that they have.\n\"AnProfile\"\n<\/p>

<\/span>What were you doing before you joined the team and how did you and Creative Market “find each other”?<\/span><\/h2>

\nBefore I joined the team, I was enjoying post-grad life while knee-deep in the job search. One day, I came across Creative Market and fell in love with what they do – that’s when I knew I had to join the team. You could say that finding Creative Market was a stroke of wonderful luck.\n<\/p>

<\/span>When not at work, what do you do for fun?<\/span><\/h2>

\nWhen I’m not at work, I spend my time between family and friends, exploring new spots, and reading. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with experiences and splurged on tickets to concerts, festivals, and sporting events. There’s just something about doing new things with good people that makes life a little better.\n<\/p>

<\/span>Do you have any go-to music when you’re working?<\/span><\/h2>

\nWorking in silence doesn’t quite sit well with me, so there’s always music playing. I’m a huge fan of indie folk, so Sufjan Stevens<\/a>, José González<\/a>, and Vance Joy<\/a> are must-haves for all of my playlists.\n<\/p>

<\/span>Have you seen any products here on the site that you especially like?<\/span><\/h2>

\nOur community members are so incredibly talented and have such great products that it’s really hard to choose just one. Here are a few of my favorites:\n

<\/span>What inspires you creatively?<\/span><\/h2>

\nUnlike most people on the Creative Market team, I don’t have the background or technical skills of a designer, and the only thing that I can successfully draw are stick figures, but creating experiences through events is how I express my creativity because of how endless the possibilities are. It’s exhibits like the Museum of Ice Cream<\/a> in New York that inspire me to think outside the box and push the limits.\n<\/p>
