Better yet is topping it off with a DIY card that shares your sentiment. Today we&acirc;&euro;&trade;ll learn how to make a funny (and pun-ny) pop-up card and lined envelope with an easy printable template and a few basic tools. The only thing that could make it better would be if that donut were edible!\n<strong>What You&acirc;&euro;&trade;ll Need:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n \t<li>Color home printer (or print at your local print shop)<\/li>\n \t<li>Scissors<\/li>\n \t<li>Glue<\/li>\n<li>This template<\/li>\n<\/ul><p>\n[[cb-donutcard]]\nThat&acirc;&euro;&trade;s it!\n\n<strong>Step 1:<\/strong>\nPrint out the template (in color, of course) on two separate sheets. Cardstock isn&acirc;&euro;&trade;t a must, but you&acirc;&euro;&trade;ll see better results if you use high-quality paper.\n<strong>Step 2:<\/strong>\nCut out all the pieces along the thin outline. If you have a steady hand, it&acirc;&euro;&trade;s ideal if you cut just within the outline, so it won&acirc;&euro;&trade;t show in your final product.\n<strong>Step 3:<\/strong>\nPick the label that works best for you. The template features a label with &acirc;&euro;&oelig;Thanks&acirc;&euro; written on it, and a blank label if you prefer to customize your card. Glue the label to the center of the envelope back.\n<strong>Step 4:<\/strong>\nCut out the envelope liner, and glue to the back of the envelope, aligning it about a &Acirc;&frac14; inch within the envelope&acirc;&euro;&trade;s top flap.\nFold along the envelope&acirc;&euro;&trade;s edges and bottom flap (as shown in the tutorial video). Glue the bottom flap to the side flaps. Fold over the top flap, and voil&Atilde;&nbsp;: your envelope is ready!\n<strong>Step 5:<\/strong>\nCut out the donut illustration, cutting as close to the outside of the outline as you can. Cut out the two rectangular tabs from the temple, and glue them to each other at a 90-degree angle. Fold each one alternately over the other, and glue shut. (See video tutorial) This will be the little &acirc;&euro;&oelig;spring&acirc;&euro; that will pop up the donut illustration, giving it a fun, three-dimensional &acirc;&euro;&oelig;pop&acirc;&euro;.\nCut along the card shape, and fold in half. Ta-da! Your card is ready!\n<\/p><h2>Pin it for later<\/h2><p>\nNow you&acirc;&euro;&trade;re ready to write a heartfelt message to someone special! There you have it, folks.
