About Me: I am a freelance illustrator who works with a variety of products and companies. My passion is creating magical worlds filled with fauna, flora, and lots of colors. My work has been been published in UPPERCASE Magazine, WeTransfer.com, the London Illustration Fair, among others. My work is available on a variety of products such as notebooks, shirts, temporary tattoos, watches, wrapping paper, and much more! I studied Fine Arts at Florida International University in Miami and I am MATS A & B (Make Art That Sells with Lilla Rogers) alumni. I also made the top 50 semi-finalist shortlist in the 2015 Global Talent Search with Lilla Rogers. Aside from spending my hours in my home studio illustrating, I play bass and am currently part of heavy metal / hard rock band called Golden Box. I loves chai lattes, chihuahuas, and reading. I currently live with my husband and chihuahua Maggie in La Ceja (a small town 50 minutes away from Medellin), Colombia. See more of my work and shop at www.catalinavillegas.com
