Tiles for Wireframes & Flowcharts V2

Website layout tiles is a product or system for building quick visual flowcharts and sitemaps for client and project work.

My first versions were done back in 2005 believe it or not when I worked on a project for the BBC here in the UK. I needed to put together an initial functional outline for the project and we didn’t have time to build wireframes or prototypes so I put together a ‘sitemap on steroids’ as I called it at the time. This illustrated our initial proposal and used them as the focus and idea generator for much of the discussion for the project.

Over time I have developed the visual look and feel for the tiles and find myself using them in just about every project I do. From my own perspective they have been valuable when dealing with ‘green’ clients who are not necessarily comfortable talking about site structure or page types, so the sooner I can get a familiar layout pattern in front of them the sooner they start to feel comfortable and the project starts to move forward.

Hope you enjoy using them as I do.

In the package is a set of web layout tiles for flowcharts and sitemaps. Each tile represents a unique page type that can be used in any of your UX deliverables. Each tile is made from vector shapes so can be changed to your own format.

Comes in .AI, .PSD and FW.PNG file types!

Hi-- the link for the web bundle says the item is no longer available. Did you change your mind about offering them together? Thanks!

@Cecilio I tend to keep away from away from supporting application and/or version specific functionality and keep the assets as interoperable as possible.

So I'd rather keep everything simple (vector) and let you decide how you want to add to your workflow.

Hi, for next version, please, can you to include Website layout tiles in Illustrator Symbol library for drag and drop?, this is more easy and usable.

  4. Sam Turner

Yes, thanks, that is what I have been doing.

It wasn't a complaint (maybe "frustration" was the wrong word to use in my original comment).

Just a idea for if you do another release :)

I purchased these during the Mightdeals bundle. They certainly do the job. But my biggest frustration is that each element is framed in a browser. Which is way too big and generally is distracting.

Maybe for the next release, pop an extra version in without the browser :)

Other than that, is a great little asset to have in my kit. Thanks

While both volumes have the same style of tile, each volume has different content or type of web page in each tile
