Christmas Cross Stitch Effect

Looking for some unique branding for the holidays?

Introducing the Christmas Cross Stitch Generator -- it'll make any image look like it's cross stitched by hand! Just in time for your holiday projects!

Insert your graphic into our template, play the action, and get instant results! We've included two different actions to generate the effect:

-Cross Stitch Generator - Solid - This version does the best job of interpreting the edges of your objects, and is for usage with text and other solid objects.

-Cross Stitch Generator - Color Image - This version is best used with your color images.

We have lots of patterns and elements included as well, so that you can put together an awesome final project in minutes:

-3 Backgrounds - Using photos of actual cross stitch materials, we've created 3 different backgrounds to suite the look you're going for.

-27 Elements - Reindeer, Christmas trees, Snowflakes... We have everything you need to get those holiday vibes across!

-3 Premade Patterns - We've put together a few pattern stripes using the elements.

Will this effect work in older versions of Photoshop? It's been tested on CS2 and newer versions. Anything older may work, but we can't guarantee results.

What fonts did you use in the sample images? We used Amplify, which is available at (free for personal use).

What resolution is the output file? Each 'X' in the cross stitch is a 20px square.
