The Avery Dennison films and foils are popular materials that a lot of print companies use them. As a matter of fact the designers have to provide these graphics and select the right color and naming in order to have the right printing results. The colors should be also mentioned separately and be marked as "spot". The problem here is that there is no ready to use color swatches for this purpose and the graphic designers should provide them by themselves. They have to look up the right color and naming and put them e.x. in Adobe programs.
For the first time, here are all the colors and materials provided by the Avery company as adobe color swatches.
Content of the package:
Opaque Signage Films:
Translucent Signage Films
Supreme Wrapping Films
Note: All colors are in CMYK Spot (No LAB, no RGB)
Every category is in a seprate color group. The Films are already defined as spot color.
Notes: Please consider that due to Adobe Illustrator naming limitations the swatches have shorter lables for the correct displaying. For best naming results of Adobe Swatch Exchange please load the swatches in Adobe Indesign.
