NOTE FROM The Designer. I've created this image effect for my personal design work, I do websites and branding and needed to turn my color images into slightly dreamy, ethereal looking, soft and a bit grainy photos to use as backgrounds for my design work. After, quite a few iterations and pressure testing, I am very happy with the way this image effect turned out.

All the adjustments for this effect come as non-destructive layers, so you can poke around and see how this effect was created. If you know your way around Photoshop, you can go into each adjustment layer effect, slightly tweak a few things and create something of your own.
