Breezy Beach: dry brush font

Breezy Beach is a dry-brush font that can add some personality to any design!

Breezy Beach is designed to work as an all-caps, mixed-case, or all-lowercase font, with a full set of stylistic alternate letters and numbers. Mix and match between standards and alternates to get a hand-crafted look!

If you want to angle your text upward, try Breezy Beach Steep! It has all the letters and features of Breezy Beach, but it's tilted at a steeper angle. And highlight it all with the Breezy Beach Ornaments -- a set of swashes and icons designed to work alongside the text!

Both Breezy Beach and Breezy Beach Steep also each contain over 200 accented characters for foreign language support (including English, French, Spanish, German, Polish, Romanian, Portuguese, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish, Esperanto, Czech, Dutch, Welsh, Filipino, Turkish, and more!)

UPDATE: The alternate alphabets are now broken out into their own font files, to make it even easier for those who don't have easy OpenType feature access.

Your Breezy Beach download includes:

  • Breezy Beach Regular: dry brush font with a full set of alternate letters and numbers (OTF and TTF)
  • Breezy Beach Regular Alternates: a separate font file with just the alternate letters and numbers (OTF and TTF)
  • Breezy Beach Steep: an italic version of Breezy Beach, with just as many alternates (OTF and TTF)
  • Breezy Beach Steep Alternates: a separate font file with just the alternate letters and numbers (OTF and TTF)
  • Breezy Beach Ornaments: 27 swashes & icons (with 27 mirror versions) designed to work with the Breezy Beach fonts (OTF and TTF)
  • Over 200 accented characters in the main text font files for llanguage support
  • Fully PUA-encoded for Character Map / Font Book / Glyphs panel access

The main font files contain OpenType features (alternate characters and ligatures). Some programs have OpenType feature access built in (Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, CorelDraw, QuarkXpress 7+, and more). Many other programs that support Unicode will allow you to import OpenType alternates by copying them from Character Map (PC) or Font Book (Mac) and pasting them into your program.

If that all sounds like gibberish to you, or you know that your software doesn't play nice with OpenType features, never fear! You can install the additional Alternate font files, and you'll have ready access to the alternate alphabet for both Breezy Beach Regular and Breezy Beach Steep no matter what software you're using!
