Faded Grandeur - 4 All Caps Fonts

Faded Grandeur is a distinctive, elegant display type family of four all caps fonts and has been inspired by stone engravings that have withered and decayed over time. Evoking a sense of a bygone era and historic decay, these fonts have been designed for titling and headline purposes, with ideal placement on book covers, for movie titles and wedding stationery.

These fonts were originally drawn at the same time as I first created Carrig in 1998 – After 19 years of sitting dormant, I've finally redrawn them and added new features. Faded Grandeur features an alternate stylistic set which has a more quirky feel to it than the standard characters. This will help you to create some very distinctive designs of your own.

Key features:

  • All caps display typeface
  • 350 glyphs
  • Alternate Stylistic Set for characters A-Z and a-z
  • Four weights included – Thin | Light | Regular | Bold
  • Central European language support – conforms to Adobe Latin 1 specification

  • Faded Grandeur Thin otf (100)
  • Faded Grandeur Light otf (300)
  • Faded Grandeur otf (400)
  • Faded Grandeur Bold otf (700)
