Ace: Baseball Card Template

It's baseball season, and what better way to celebrate than with custom baseball cards for your favorite player's team. Whether you're a designer parent looking to treat the team or a sports-loving photographer looking for new avenues to explore, this card template is easy to customize for teams and individuals.

Your download includes two template files, one each for the front and back of the card. The templates are 2.75" by 3.75" (for a full bleed when printed at 2.5" by 3.5"). It's easy to change text, colors, and images for completely custom cards. It includes instructions with details about how to get started and where to download the fonts (which are available free).

Yes, you will need Photoshop from either Creative Suite 3 or newer or from Creative Cloud. These templates will not work with Photoshop Elements.

Editing text within the Layers palette will only change the name of the layer itself.

To edit the text on the card, you'll want to select the Text tool (the T icon) and click directly on the text you want to edit in the image (not the layers panel). Photoshop will insert the cursor wherever you click. From that point, you can click and drag to select specific text or hit Cmd/Ctrl A (depending on your OS).

Once you've changed the text on a specific layer, you can click any other tool to commit your changes. You can then select the Text tool again to select and update a new section of text. Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions!

OK I am now using adobe Photoshop but the text won't change. I edit it off to the side like I should and it doesn't change it on the card template though. I can change colors and add pics but can't change the text.
