9 Vector Gilt Picture Frames

I have always found picture frames useful in artwork, either for websites to use around images, or in print to bring attention to certain image or text.

Looking through old vintage out of copyright catalogues some years ago, I came across gilt frames advertised by showing part of the edge illustrated. In other old catalogues I found gilt mirror illustrations. From these I have since been collecting and piecing together frames that I have used in projects. The patterns vary, and so do the shapes but can create some striking artwork.

A selection of these have been made into vectors, so you can edit and colour these to your use – whether to make a vintage effect frame, Gallery or a modern bold effect.

See Slide 3 for all the shapes included, Background images not included only the vector shapes, simply color to your choice and manipulate in Adobe Illustrator.

Compressed ZIP file containing ai and eps of 9 of vector gilt frames and edges for your use.
