Why more than FLAT?

Flat design are no shadow, no dependency on real world items, single colour and it is just simple, 2 dimensional design. Windows 8 is the most well known example of this style of interface design, being entirely flat.

The main problem of Flat design was the usability concern. Not all users are comfortable with the style of interface and don’t always know what and were to click or tap.

Flat design & skeuomorphism can have a happy marriage

There are benefits to both flat design and skeuomorphism, and a healthy use of the two can provide a clean and user-friendly experience.
