Winter fairy tale

Winter fairy tale

My tale is about pagan customs and wintertime folklore. Winter holidays are the time of bright carnivals and dressing up. A time when you can reach out and touch the afterlife, find out your destiny and plant the seeds of future well-being. But be honest in your desires, carefully watch who responds from that side. In postcards, I showed the ancient Ukrainian traditions that we honor during the Christmas period. We arrange a carnival and put on masks. We decorate the sheaf of the first harvest, which symbolizes the ancestor of the family. We are guessing at the future fate and clean the home. May the gods bless us in winter. And let the renewed sun of the new year rise for everyone.
