This workbook contains 80 printable pages including an exemplar. It can be used for print or to practice calligraphy on procreate. There are 8 basic strokes and each one of them is covered on one page. There is a small explanation on how to practice these strokes as well.

Following the basic strokes, each page contains 2 uppercase and lowercase letters and it breaks down the letters into the fundamental basic strokes required for pointed pen calligraphy

At the end of the workbook, I have included blank Guidesheets so that you can practice the basic strokes and letters.

Note: The guidelines for this workbooks have an x-height of 6mm with a 2:1:2 ratio and a 55 degree slant line.

Opening Your Calligraphy Workbook in Procreate

If you've chosen to use your calligraphy workbook digitally on your iPad with Procreate, here's how to get started:

Download the PDF: First, ensure you have downloaded the calligraphy workbook PDF to your iPad.

Open Procreate: Launch the Procreate app on your iPad. Make sure you have the latest version installed for the best experience.

Import the PDF: Tap Import in the top right Gallery menu to open the Files app. Navigate to the folder where your stored PDF files are, and tap on the file to import it.

Unlike image files, multi-page PDF files import into Procreate by placing each page onto its own separate layer. Each page also appears on a timeline at the bottom of the screen. You can use this timeline to navigate the various pages of your imported PDF document.

Start Calligraphy Practice: With your workbook now imported as separate layers, you can use Procreate's intuitive interface to work on each page. Use gestures like swiping left or right to navigate between pages easily. You can also zoom in and out for precision.

Import the brush set to use.

Once you open your workbook choose the brush icon on the top right

Tap the + button to create a new brush. Find and tap the Import button at the top right to import the brush set from where you downloaded it. The brush set will appear as a folder under your brushes
