AZURA — Cinematic Resort

Most resort websites look the same: a hero photo, a grid of room cards, a booking form bolted on top. AZURA doesn't do that. It's built around a single idea — a guest's stay told as a journey through light, from first light to the last — so scrolling through it feels less like browsing a hotel site and more like watching a travel editorial unfold. The homepage opens with a full-screen arrival sequence that slowly resolves into focus before a single word appears, and from there every section is choreographed rather than just laid out. If you're building or reselling a site for a resort, villa, boutique hotel, or any hospitality brand that wants to feel premium instead of generic, this is the difference between "another booking template" and something a client will actually be excited to launch.

The signature piece is the "Time & Tide" sequence: a scroll-pinned passage that carries visitors through five moments of a single day at the resort, with imagery, lighting, and mood shifting in sync with the scroll — built with GSAP/ScrollTrigger on desktop and gracefully falling back to a clean stacked layout on mobile and for visitors with reduced-motion preferences enabled. Beyond that centerpiece, AZURA ships a full site: an editorial room/villa explorer where each room gets its own immersive detail page rather than a generic listing row; a curated experiences browser (spa, water, culinary, adventure, culture, slow living) organized by category; a destination guide covering nearby beaches, temples, terraces, and a harbor town with travel times and a lightly stylized map; a journal for editorial storytelling and dispatches; and a guided, five-step reservation flow (dates → room → guests → details → confirmation) with real client-side validation and proper success/error states. A custom cursor and a floating, context-aware navigation add polish throughout.

Everything a buyer needs to customize is kept simple and file-based — there's no CMS, no database, and no backend to configure. Page copy lives directly in the page files, while all repeated content (rooms, experiences, destinations, journal entries, and the Time & Tide stages) lives in typed TypeScript data files under `data/`, so adding or editing an entry is just editing an array — TypeScript will flag anything missing. Photography is centralized in one file as swappable image keys, brand colors are CSS custom properties you change once to reskin the whole site, and fonts, navigation, and forms are each isolated to a couple of clearly documented files. Built with Next.js 16 (App Router) and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS v4, and animated with Framer Motion, GSAP/ScrollTrigger, and Lenis for smooth scrolling; forms use React Hook Form + Zod for validation. What you get: full source code, the typed data-driven content structure described above, the complete Customer Guide, and a template that's fully responsive across mobile/tablet/desktop with reduced-motion support built in for accessibility. It builds to a fully static, prerendered output (every room, experience, and journal page included) and deploys out of the box to Netlify, Vercel, or any Node.js-compatible host.
