Quick Handle AOE

Quick Handle is a casual retro script, a marker handwritten style font. Originating from some old handwritten letters I purchased off Ebay, what began as a limited reference of Capitals, lowercase, numbers and punctuation was expanded to a full typeface with an expanded language glyph set. Perfect for a range of designs that require a personal touch.

Sometimes the inspiration for my typefaces comes from odd places, and Quick Handle is the perfect example of that. I had purchased a collection of correspondence letters from the 1950's and 60's off Ebay, and the inspiration for Quick Handle was one of the letters that just jumped out at me. A speedily penned looking non-connecting script with lots of personality, the only downside to the source was that it was a short letter to a friend. Nonetheless, the style gave me ideas to play with while fleshing it out. I hope you'll have as much fun using the font as I had creating it.
