Shomina Font
About
SHOMINA is a serif font designed by Carlos Campos (Cuchi, Qué Tipo!).
Allow me to present you my newly crafted typeface: Shomina. A creation that emerges from the harmonious confluence of traditional elegance and modern refinement. This splendid font family encompasses no fewer than thirty distinct weights (plus the slanted variants), offering unparalleled versatility for the most discerning designer. With a range of variation in both weight and width axes, Shomina promises an abundance of possibilities for every typographic need.
Inspired by the timeless form of the Didone style, Shomina bears the grace and poise of its forebears, yet with a modern twist, presenting a balance between classical proportions and contemporary clarity. While it is well-suited for continuous reading, it truly excels in larger sizes, where the intricate details of the design may be most fully appreciated. In addition to its visual allure, Shomina also offers an extensive array of glyphs and numerous OpenType features, allowing the most fastidious designer to tailor its appearance to their precise specifications.
Thus, whether for the most refined of printed works or the boldest of digital designs, Shomina is a typeface that imparts a rich, sophisticated character to any composition. I trust that your inspection of this specimen will confirm my high regard for this remarkable font, and that you shall find it an indispensable addition to your typographic repertoire.
