For that perfectly loose and messy style that comes with hand-drawn ballpoint pen, but the forgiveness and flexibility of digital art.
These were made with scans of real ballpoint pen dots, strokes, and smudges.
Included:
- 8 Standard Ballpoint Pens
- 3 Hatch-mark Shaders
- 3 Stipple Shaders
- 3 Scribble Shaders
- 5 "Hand" Smudge Shaders
- 1 Palette of 12 Swatches
- 3 High-Res PNGs of Notebook Paper Textures
For best results, work with 100% opacity, in the same layer, or a new layer set to multiply. The best brush size will vary depending on the resolution of your canvas. For the standard pens, they work best at a smaller size, but the Smudge Shaders work best at a medium-large size. The palette included is designed to work well with the brush set. You can freely change the swatch, however not all colors will look authentic. Half the fun is getting a broader range of colors you normally wouldn't get with a real ballpoint pen, so experiment and see what you like!

- How can I unzip product files?
PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.
