Dreadlabs' Slime Overlays contains 10 high quality renders of stretching goo. Gross, right? Well, kinda yes, but it also works really well together with brutalism and acid posters. If you grab an album cover or rave flyer from the 90's and place this over it, it gives of an extra layer of depth. Because of the holes you can determine where you want the main focus of your flyer to be on a whole new level.

Why grab these strechy slime layers?

These very specific 3D renders were sketched by hand at first and turned into vector objects (these vectors are also included in the pack by the way!) to add an extra layer to design pieces that end up feeling flat. As a graphic designer myself I often encounter this problem. I've designed a brutalism poster or acid cover and it has 90's all over it, but I want to keep it clean instead of grungy. Grunge screams 90's design, but sometimes you just don't want that. That's where these slime layers come in. They add another layer of depth to the design without the need to add too many textures (which will also make your design look grungy).

So in short: these 10 Slime Overlays serve a very specific purpose. That being said, in my opinion they just look really cool.

What's inside?

• 10 High-resolution PNG files of unique slime patterns (Rendered at 3000 by 3000 pixels at 300 dpi)
• 10 Vector Base Files of each slime pattern, drawn by hand (and then digitalized in Adobe Illustrator).
• 10 PSD Mockups containing the slime overlays including a subtle shadow. Simply drop in your design and it will also automatically distort and fog up behind the slime.
