Squishy Blob Bubbly Display Font
About
Squishy Blob is a soft, puffy display font with letters that look squeezed out of a piping bag. It's warm, a little messy and made for food and fun: pizza boxes, café menus, bakery labels, stickers, kids' products, merch and social posts.
The trick is that every letter comes in 4 shapes. With contextual alternates on, Squishy Blob swaps them as you type, so repeated letters never look copy-pasted. Type "mozzarella" and you get two different z's and two different l's without touching a thing.
Two styles • Dark: the solid, chunky main style • Outline: the same letters drawn as a hollow line Both styles share the same metrics, so you can stack Outline on top of Dark for two-colour lettering or mix them line by line.
Features • 375 glyphs: uppercase, lowercase, figures, punctuation and symbols • 4 forms of every letter, A–Z and a–z, switched automatically • Stylistic sets 1–3 to pick a specific form by hand • Discretionary ligatures: CO, LO, TO, oo, tt • Fractions ½ ¼ ¾, superscripts and ordinals • Currency symbols $ € £ ¥ ¢ • Supports 200+ Latin-script languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Danish, Swedish and Finnish
How to use the alternates Contextual alternates work automatically in apps with OpenType support, such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Affinity and Figma. To choose a form by hand, use the Glyphs panel or stylistic sets 1–3. In Microsoft Word, turn on "Use Contextual Alternates" under Font → Advanced.
Illustrations and mockups in the preview images are not included.
