Sugih - Sans Serif Font Family
About
Sugih is a condensed sans font family that embodies modernity, versatility, boldness, and simplicity. Modernism was a mixed blessing for typography. Half a century before Helvetica and Univers, there were no type families: the designer who hoped to use different weights and widths was left to grope among an anarchic collection of unrelated styles. One font might be bold, another condensed, and only the occasional style might offer an Slanted. And while the rationalism of the type family brought order to the chaos, offering designers the promise that a sans serif with a Thin would also have a Bold, it also drove some of the world’s most colorful sans serifs into extinction. Picking up where this project left off is Sugih, a sans serif shaped by new challenges, new influences, and new ideas.
Inspired by the classic grotesque typefaces - Sugih has his own unique style, expressed in perfectly softened geometric forms. The font family is most suitable for headlines of all sizes, as well as for text blocks that come in both maximum and minimum variations. Sugih font styles are applicable for any type of graphic design in web, print, motion graphics etc and perfect for t-shirts and other items like posters and logos. Sugih’s blend of modern simplicity and bold character ensures that your designs will make a lasting impression across diverse mediums.
