Dichroism is a collection of 18 abstract iridescent backgrounds built around vivid spectral color shifts — the kind of oil-slick, holographic surfaces where the hue changes as the light moves across it. Inspired by the optical phenomenon of the same name, each background reads as a real material with depth and reflection, not a flat gradient.

The set spans a wide range of looks within one cohesive style: smooth liquid-chrome flows, rippling oil-slick waves, fractured glass, bubble and cell structures, and woven metallic patterns. Colors run bold and saturated — magenta, teal, lime, violet, and electric blue melting into one another for a rich, prismatic finish.

Every background comes in two versions — grainy and clean — so you can pick a tactile, film-grain texture or a crisp, polished surface depending on the project. Files are hi-res at 4000 × 4000 px, 300 DPI, and easy to recolor with hue shifts, gradient maps, or colorize adjustments if you want to push them in a new direction.
