Marathon Torch – Olympic 1950's Font
About
Marathon Torch is a bold brutalist display font inspired by 1950s Olympic typography, mid-century signage, and monumental architecture. Built with strong geometric forms, tall proportions, and striking negative space, this typeface feels powerful, athletic, and timeless. It captures the spirit of post-war optimism—where design was confident, functional, and made to endure.
Blending Art Deco elegance with raw brutalist structure, Marathon Torch features sculpted letterforms that feel carved rather than drawn. The stylized uppercase, playful lowercase, and retro-inspired numerals create a unique balance between authority and personality. Every glyph is designed to stand out, making this font perfect for high-impact visual storytelling.
Ideal for sports branding, posters, logos, editorial headlines, event graphics, fashion campaigns, and cinematic titles, Marathon Torch is a statement typeface built to command attention. If your project needs strength, motion, and iconic presence, this font carries the flame.
