PRESSLINE - All-Caps Vintage Serif
About
Step back in time to the clattering newsrooms of the 1910s with Pressline Italic, a tall, condensed, all-caps serif typeface that embodies the grit and glory of early 20th-century journalism. Handcrafted with a vintage soul, this font features sharp italic slants, delicate serifs, and a textured, bumpy-edge finish—mimicking the worn ink and rough newsprint of a bygone era. Perfect for designers seeking to infuse their projects with authentic historical flair, Pressline Italic is your go-to for bold headlines, nostalgic branding, and timeless editorial design.
Key Features: -Vintage Aesthetic: Inspired by 1910s newspaper mastheads, with a distressed texture that evokes the imperfections of letterpress printing. -Tall & Condensed: Maximizes space while delivering striking visual impact—ideal for tight layouts or eye-catching headers. -Italic Elegance: The slanted design adds urgency and movement, perfect for subheads or standout titles. -All-Caps Glory: Designed for bold statements, with a cohesive uppercase set that shines in every application. -Includes OTF file for seamless use across design software.
Perfect For: -Editorial Design: Elevate magazine spreads or book covers with a journalistic edge (think historical fiction or noir thrillers). -Branding: Create logos or packaging with a retro vibe—imagine a speakeasy menu or craft beer label. -Posters & Invitations: Add drama to event flyers, wedding invites, or vintage-style ads. -Creative Projects: Ideal for anything needing a touch of history, from film titles to artisanal product labels.
