RISO-TONE: Photoshop Edition

RISO-TONE is like a Risograph printer inside of your computer! The pack is chock full of brushes (43 to be exact!), Photoshop Actions for instant effects (17 of those!) and even true-to-riso colour swatches!

WHAT'S INCLUDED

43 BRUSHES:

• 3 sets of standard riso textured brushes - Including 1, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and 100 percent values. You get 3 sets of each so you can blend colours of the same value authentically
• 7 gradient riso textured brushes - Including Dark Roast, Xerox, Double Gradient, Scan Lines, Even-tone Dark, Even-tone Mid, and Even-tone Light

All textures have been scanned at 1200dpi from real risograph prints, printed at Makerspace, Colchester, Essex.

17 ACTIONS:

• 10 RISO-TONE Fill actions - Fill selections with values from 10% to 100%
• 3 RISO-TONE Offset actions - Non-destructively knock out the layer below your current layer and nudge it off centre to get some authentic looking misregistration, a characteristic of risography
• 2 RISO-TONE MONO actions - Including MONO Hard and MONO Soft, turn any image or photo into an editable, single colour layer, as though you scanned it directly in a risograph printer
• RISO-TONE CMYK - This powerful action takes an image or photo and separates it into 4 channels, (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key (Black)) then sticks it back together again as a smart object, allowing you to go back in and move the layers around or even change the colours!
• RISO-TONE TRI-COLOUR - Similarly to the CMYK action, this action separate an image or photo into 3 colour layers, (Highlights, Midtones, and Shadows) allowing for you to easily make some trippy photo edits

COLOUR SWATCHES:

• 77 accurate Pantone swatches - Whilst you're free to use any colours you like, RISO-TONE comes loaded with a colour palette that replicates the inks available to risograph printers
