JHC Katsubie - Headline Sans Family
About
JHC Katsubie is built to break the silence. Engineered with a sharp, space-saving condensed architecture and laced with expressive display accents, this typeface brings raw energy and undeniable attitude to high-impact headlines, editorial covers, posters, and bold brand identities.
The family spans 18 static styles, moving from a refined Thin all the way to a Black, with matching Italics for every weight. It also includes a unified Variable font featuring 2 axes (Weight and Italic), giving you complete freedom to fine-tune thickness and slant on the fly without cluttering your workflow.
Underneath its striking exterior lies a deeply flexible typographic toolkit. OpenType features grant total creative freedom through stylistic set ss01 (M, N, U), distinct character variants for a and u, and a standard and discretionary ligatures to build custom, expressive layouts.
Designed to communicate on a global scale, JHC Katsubie pairs its commanding presence with extensive multi-script character support, spanning Extended Latin, Cyrillic, and Greek character sets.
