Plaza de Castillo
About
Plaza de Castillo is a funky retro display font that captures the warmth and soul of 1970s Latin American design. Hand-painted storefronts, vintage record sleeves, travel posters, and cantina menus glowing in golden-hour light. Its chunky, rounded forms and playful curves give every word a groovy, laid-back confidence, while its generous proportions keep things bold and readable.
Mix and match styles to build dynamic type hierarchies, from a punchy headline to a smooth, swinging subheading. Or add a warp effect in Illustrator for a groovy retro vibe. Whether you’re branding a restaurant, designing an album cover, packaging a small-batch hot sauce, or adding personality to a poster, Plaza de Castillo brings instant character and a touch of nostalgia to your work.
