Image Overlay Bundle
About
Our image overlay bundle for landscape photography enthusiasts and professionals. Designed to suit the needs of advanced landscape photography post-processing in Photoshop using overlays to introduce new elements to your photos, including rain, snow and skies to use as replacement.
Sky Overlays - Photos of real skies that you replace your original sky with in a photograph, the reason for this might be that you want a more dramatic vibe or want a sunset sky to change the perceived time of day.
Light Overlays - Artificially created lighting to enhance or create a certain style of light in your photograph.
Colour Filter Overlays - These overlays will add colour to your image when applied.
Rain & Snow Overlays - Add rain or snow to your photos.
The overlays are a great way to express your creativity and to add elements that are common in landscape photography, you might think it would look great with some rain in your photo, but since we can’t control the weather in real life we might have to do it in post-processing instead. Keep in mind that these overlays easily can produce fake-looking results so be careful how you apply them, for example it might be a bad idea to add snow to a photo from a the summer.
If you want to use an overlay on your photo you can simply drag it onto your photo in Photoshop and then resize and place it as you like. All overlays needs you to select a suiting blend mode and you can try a few different ones until you’re satisfied. The overlay actions that are included in the workflow are designed to change the lightness and colour of the overlays so you can try those or do it manually by adding adding adjustment layers and clipping them to the overlay layer. You can also reduce the opacity of the overlays to achieve your desired look. Keep in mind that you of course can apply several overlays to your picture if you’d like.
