I'm having trouble with opening the files.

Try installing the through the brush and swatch palettes. Here are the instructions: Illustrator Brush Instructions: In Illustrator go to Window > Brush Libraries > Other Library and select file Pattern Swatches: In illustrator go to Window > Swatch Libraries > Other Library and select file Photo Shop Brushes: In photoshop click the settings gear on the brush palette and select load brushes. Then select the file.

I've tried opening the files through the palettes, and the brushes and patterns still aren't showing up.

Open the .eps file that coordinates with your version of illustrator. The brushes or swatches should populate automatically in the palettes for that document.

How can I unzip product files?

PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.

Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.
