Vintage MEDICINE BOTTLE Stamps

Design medicine for the woes that ail you!!

Largely pulled from my personal collection, this pack contains 9 crisply restored and vectored antique medicine bottle stamps from the 1800’s. This truly is a set of ‘out of the ordinary’ vintage imagery.

In the 1800’s hay-day of Patent Medicines, the long thin stamps were used to seal the top of medicine bottles and the squarer stamps were used on medicine product boxes.

This pack contains 9 of these ‘patent medicine’ stamps (a few being rare tax revenue stamps) - there’s even a couple of antique pharmacy ‘safety seals’ in the bunch. All the stamps are hard-to-find and not commonly offered in graphic circles. Painstakingly restored to crisp, sharp images!!

Fully vectored and free of copyright restrictions, these fit a wide range of design projects; from posters and apparel to scrap-booking and digital art.

Or simply re-purpose them; they made great tags (some have space for personalizing), they go wonderfully with mail-art (and are perfect for ‘get-well-soon’ items) and can even be used to make incredible patterns.

VECTOR Ai & EPS AND RASTER PNG FORMATS

• Includes 3 sets of files: transparent vector Ai, transparent EPS and 300 dpi transparent PNGs for Photoshop and other photo editing programs.

• Vector files are 100% scalable. In Ai, all corresponding stamp shapes and any additional color needs are in object layers.

• PNG stamp images are on 300-dpi separate (isolated - NOT ganged up on a sheet) B&W files approx. 4500-5000 pixel-wide each on a clear background. Corresponding stamp shapes and any additional stamp color needs are supplied as separate 5000-pixel files.

A note to medicine stamp collectors: Although several of the original stamps had major damage (fixed in restoration), only two have been majorly altered.

All in all, a rare set of uncommon images and a great supplement to any vintage designer’s arsenal.
