We’d like to note that the main animated background uses monochromatic tonal lighting, which is highly sensitive to compression and may produce banding. Adding different amount of noise or grain (or combo) helps reduce this, depending on the level of compression. A banding-free result for animated monochromatic background can be achieved in high-bitrate environments without heavy compression.
