About

This mockup emulates a carved wood effect, perfect for text and logos. It is ideal for text effects but also works on any vector shape or bitmap layer that has a transparent background. You can use this mockup to showcase your logo, icon, symbol or any other designs.

The .psd file is layered and organized with color labelling, easy to understand names, and simple structure. We always put effort into making our graphic design resources as easy to use as possible. The Large, Medium and Small craft box mockups are also on separate artboards in the same .psd file.

This package features 5 text effect mockups with unique backgrounds included.

How to update the text:

Open any 'Engraved Wood Text Effect X.psd' file in Photoshop CC
Right click on the red labelled [YOUR DESIGN HERE] and choose Edit Contents
Update or replace the placeholder design with your own graphics
Save and close the Smart Object
Repeat for the other smart object

Note on Displacement Maps:

If you get an error when updating the smart object, you probably need to tell Photoshop where the displacement file is located. Expand the fx dropdown on the [YOUR DESIGN HERE] smart object layer, double click on Displace and click OK, then locate and open the corresponding displacement map file included with the download.

How can I unzip product files?

PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.

Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.
