FAQs

How do I install the brushes to Procreate?
Feel free to have a look at this installation guide that explains how to import the brushes to the app: https://ln2.sync.com/dl/7f1587d00/vbua2wmt-2jqbjtzv-u28bhq3r-uypd5sq2
Can I use the brushes in other softwares? (ex. Photoshop)
No, the brushes are exclusively compatible with the iPad app Procreate. They won't work in other softwares.
The files aren't recognized by my iPad, what should I do?
Make sure you have the latest version of Procreate installed. Brushes are provided as .brushset files which aren't compatible with previous versions of the app, older than 4.1. Also, the Import function in Procreate only work for individual .brush files (.brushset files will appear greyed out). Brushes have to be exported from another app such as Dropbox or iCloud Drive (iOS Files) - use the Export function of one of these apps to transfer the .brushset file to Procreate.
If I buy this bundle now will I have access to updates?
Yes! Once you have purchased the bundle, all future updates (until this product stops being updated with new brushes sets) will be available for free. You can access the updated bundle at any time from your Creative Market Purchases page. You will receive a notification every time the file is updated with a new set.
Can I use the brushes with a third party stylus?
Yes, but I recommend using the Apple Pencil if possible, as it's currently the most precise tool for drawing on the iPad. Depending on the stylus you're using, you may not have access to features such as pressure sensitivity. The brushes were created and tested using an Apple Pencil, so I cannot guarantee that they will behave as advertised with third party styluses.
The brushes files appear greyed out when trying to import them to Procreate, what's causing this?
If you are using the "Import" function directly in the Procreate app, the brushes files will appear greyed out - this is because they are in .brushset format (and not .brush), and this format isn't compatible with the Import function (only individual brushes files can be imported that way). You need to *export* the brushes from the storage app where there are located instead, such as Dropbox or iCloud Drive. (Open the app on your iPad, locate the .brushset file and export to Procreate).
