This Isolated Clip Board Mockup for Canva is a quick and easy way to display your worksheets, planner pages, drawings, business stationery, document pages, coloring pages, or printables. Change the clipboard texture or pattern to your preference. Drop your design into the custom frame. The clipboard, page, and clip are all separate objects with their own detached drop shadows. All objects are grouped for your convenience. Add your own background color, texture and props.

This Clip Board frame is custom-created by me. The clip is a high-resolution transparent PNG object, and the drop shadows are also custom created as separate objects. They aren’t Canva drop shadows (which tend to be a bit glitchy). The mockup works like Photoshop. Effortless drag and drop of your design into the custom-created clip frames will give you a realistic and professional end-product.

Two mockups are included: an isolated clip board, and a styled mockup with the clip board and some loose sheets. US Letter and A4 page sizes are included.

How to use this Clip Board Mockup for Canva

Once you download the User PDF, navigate to the last page where you’ll find the license details and also the link to access your mockup. The link will take you to a Canva template containing the two Clip Board Mockups included.

As with all my mockups, the first step is to download your image or design as JPG or PNG (not transparent) files. Then, all you need to do is drag and drop your JPG/PNG design straight into the custom-created clip frame. Your design will look like it’s been printed onto the sheet of paper. Just like it would in a Photoshop mockup.

The clipboard comes with a free Canva wood texture image but you can swap it out for any other texture or pattern you like.

Change the page background color, or add your own textured background. Add props from my Scene Creator bundles, or from Canva’s stock library.

Once you’ve downloaded this mockup template and saved it to your designs, the easiest way to use this set of signage mockups is as follows:

• First create a new blank design/artboard, the size you need your design to be.
• Then navigate to the sidebar of your user panel, find ‘folders’ (it’s usually right at the bottom) and click on it.
• Click on ‘all your designs’ and scroll down until you find the Clip Board Mockup Template (you’ll recognize it by the cover image).
• Click on it and you’ll see the cover image and the mockup displayed in your sidebar.
• Just click on the Clip Board page you want to use and it’ll be magically added to your design.
• Next, add your JPG/PNG image/s to the mockup. Duplicate the page and add different designs if you want to showcase more.
• To customize your mockups, change the background to a plain color or add a texture from Canva’s photo library and add props if you want to add more interest.
• The loose pages of the styled mockup can be duplicated if you need to add more.
• When you’re happy with the mockup then download and use it.
