I purchased this image and realized there were white dots/specs all over - everything else was ok. Since it is a daytime sky I was not sure those dots/specs were suppose to be there. I contacted the artist and got no response. Frustrated with this purchase and lack of response.
Sorry Greg! I was away for a while. Yes this striking photo is the result of a long exposure from a tripod at night! Those are real stars in the sky! Please see the photo description: ("Blue sky and stars in a forest of tall pines.") I highly recommend trying some long-exposure photography! The results can be stunning!
