Braewick - Medieval Display Font
About
Give your headlines a sense of history. Braewick is a rugged medieval display font family with a bold, distinctive presence for fantasy worlds, heritage-inspired branding, and titles that need more character than a standard display face.
You get 4 weights - Regular, Medium, SemiBold, and Bold - with 380 glyphs per style. The family balances an old-world atmosphere with the flexibility you need for modern identity work, editorial layouts, and dramatic visual storytelling. Uppercase and lowercase characters, numerals, punctuation, symbols, accented characters, and stylistic alternates help you build typography that feels considered rather than generic.
Features
-
4 weights: Regular, Medium, SemiBold, and Bold give you contrast for titles, subtitles, logos, and supporting display text.
-
380 glyphs per style: A broad character set with uppercase, lowercase, numerals, punctuation, symbols, and accented characters.
-
OpenType alternates: Stylistic substitutions let you change the tone of selected letterforms and create a more personal wordmark or title.
-
Multilingual support: Accented characters help extend your layouts beyond basic English text.
-
Web-ready formats: WOFF and WOFF2 files are included alongside desktop formats for web projects.
-
Kerning and positioning: OpenType GPOS features help keep display settings balanced and polished.
Use Braewick for fantasy novel covers, historical posters, cinematic headlines, decorative text, logos, invitations, magazine covers, game titles, t-shirts, packaging, and branding. The lighter weights can establish hierarchy, while SemiBold and Bold bring the visual weight needed for a striking cover line or compact logo.
The package includes OTF, TTF, WOFF, and WOFF2 files for every style. Install the OTF or TTF files for desktop work, or use the webfont formats when building a website. Braewick works well anywhere you can select and style installed text.
Make your next title feel like it belongs to a larger story. Add Braewick to your toolkit and give your project a stronger historical edge.
