These transitions are compatible with any video editing software that works with Track Matte transparency columns or effects, like Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe After Effects.
How to use Place the chosen transition above the footage you want to apply it to. In Premiere Pro: Apply the Track Matte Key effect to the footage layer and switch the Matte to “Video 2”. Also, switch the Matte Alpha to Matte Luma and, depending on the reveal you want to achieve, you can check the Reverse box or apply an Inverse Channel effect. Nest both clips in a new sequence and you’re done. In After Effects: Set up the Track Matte transparency column of the footage layer to “Luma Matte” or “Luma Inverted Matte” depending on the movement you want to make.
