What are the different types of fonts?

While there are many ways to differentiate fonts, the main different categories to start with are serif, sans serif, script, blackletter, display/decorative, and non-Western. What is the difference between a font and a typeface?

The difference between a font and a typeface is that a typeface refers to the overall design, while a font is a specific style, size, or weight within that typeface. This is a bit confusing on its face - we think it’s a bit easier to reference an example. So if “Neue Swiss” is your typeface, "Neue Swiss Bold 12pt" might be your font. Of course, as you’ll find with anything in this wonderful world of fonts, nothing is so simple. What Font License is Right for Me?

A desktop license is the most common license and covers most commercial font usage. You can create graphic designs (logos, signs, etc.) and products (mugs, t-shirts, hats, etc.) for yourself, or your client(s). These are great for logos and branding, movie titles and captions, PDFs, cards, signs and print merchandise. Products may be sold for profit as long as the letters are not the main selling point of your product (like a house number or stamp set). Embedding fonts is not allowed with this license with a few exceptions (such as a PDF reports). All licenses on our site are perpetual, which means you pay once and use it forever. To use a font on your website, you’ll need a web font license. This type of license allows you to embed font files into the CSS code on your site. From there, site visitors can then see and temporarily use your embedded fonts! Web licenses on Creative Market are priced by pageview limits (essentially this means they are priced according to traffic). Beyond the web, we’ve also got you covered for apps and publications. Our app licenses allow you to embed font files in app code. These are best for things like games, mobile apps, and web apps. Dig out your Nokia and Tamagotchi beacuse I’m dragging some Y2K influenced bubble typography into the present day! This irresistible 3D letter set is provided as both a type-able font and a .png letterset, in 5 different pre-made styles. Oh, and yeah, I actually did call it Wubble 😎.

Wubble Consists of a full set of upper and lowercase bubble characters, including numerals, punctuation, and multilingual support. It also includes a set of 50 swashes and shapes to compliment your bubble text.

The letters, swashes and shapes are provided in the following formats;

2 Regular Fonts (.ttf/.otf) • Includes the full set of Wubble letters, as well as a separate font including the swashes and shapes. The regular fonts are in a traditional font format and are widely supported, but do not have the built-in 3D bubble effect.

2 Opentype-SVG Fonts (.otf) • ❗Require Photoshop CC 2017, Illustrator CC 2018, or Procreate 4.3 (or newer) to use. Opentype-SVG fonts are included for the Pink Set of Wubble letters, swashes and shapes. The pink 3D bubble effect is built into each letter, just simply install as a regular font and type away! 4 Image Lettersets (.png) • The full set of 3D Wubble letters, swashes and shapes are also included as separate .png images on a transparent background, which are widely supported by graphics programs. Language Support • The Regular Wubble font contains language support for; English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Indonesian, Malay, Hungarian, Polish, Croatian, Turkish, Romanian, Czech, Latvian, Lithuanian, Slovak, Slovenian.

The Opentype-SVG font and .png sets contain the following accents which can be manually added to your letters; ¨ ˜ ´ ˆ ` ˚ ˘ ˉ ˝ ˇ˛ ¸

How can I unzip product files?

PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.

Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.

How do I install a font?

After you unzip your font product files, you will see .OTF or .TTF files. To install a font, just double click on the OTF or TTF file. For more information, check out our Font FAQ.

What software do I need to use this font?

When a font is installed on your computer, it can be used with any program that allows you to create text. Fonts will work in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe software, and almost any other program with a text editor.
