About
Introducing: Wild Spirit! A carefree and untamed brush font with a natural flow. Handmade with long organic strokes, Wild Spirit isn't held back by any boundaries or expectations. It's the perfect choice for personal branding projects, handwritten quotes, homeware designs, product packaging - or simply as a modern & stylish text overlay to any background image.
Wild Spirit includes two sets of each character, and 25 ligatures (double letters) - which combined offers you a huge range of customisability and layout options, and allows you to produce a very organic and natural handwritten flow to your text. It also comes with a bonus set of 14 swashes & arrows to assist your project.
That's all good stuff! But what's included in the download? You will receive 3 font files;
1. Wild Spirit • A hand drawn script font containing upper & lowercase characters, numerals and a large range of punctuation.
2. Wild Spirit Alt • This is a second version of Wild Spirit, with a completely new set of lowercase and uppercase characters. If you wanted to avoid letters looking the same each time to recreate a custom-made style, or try a different word shape, simply switch to this font for an additional layout option.
3. Wild Spirit Extras • Simply type any uppercase character in this font to generate a swash, or any lowercase character in this font to generate a ligature. (Note - discretionary ligatures can also be turned on in opentype software, which will automatically switch standard letter pairs into the provided ligatures.)

No special software is required to use the Wild Spirit Font.

Fonts are provided in both TTF & OTF formats. I recommend installing the TTF files, and the OTF only if necessary. There is no difference in function with either format.

This typeface is so unique and provides fun styling with words and letters. This font company also makes some other amazing styles that are worth checking out. Sam is an amazing designer and would highly recommend purchasing any font from him. A+
5 stars are not enough to describe how much I'm in love with Sam's work in general and this one in particular. Thanks a bunch for a truly authentic looking font. I used it for a quick message and even I cannot believe the result was not handwritten and scanned! I absolutely appreciate the "alt" variation and selection of ligatures, these help make the final design look just right.

The typography is beautiful, I just am having some issues with ellipsis, there does not seem to be a style for the ellipsis that matches the font; thus, every time I use '...' I have to switch typographies so the periods don't look bold and square. Is there a fix for this?/An update I could download? Thanks!
Hi Rachel, thanks for your purchase and sorry about the trouble you're experiencing! That's a strange one, it sounds like the software you're using is probably trying to force a separate ellipsis glyph which isn't there, rather than just using 3 full stops. I've added an ellipsis glyph to both the Wild Spirit and Wild Spirit Alt fonts and updated the font here. If you could do the following; 1. Completely remove/uninstall all Wild Spirit fonts from your computer 2. Re-download the font from here on the product page, and install the newly downloaded versions. 3. Give your computer a restart to register the updated font 4. Re-open your document and try typing the ellipsis again in one of the Wild Spirit fonts. Let me know if that solves it! Cheers, Sam

- How can I unzip product files?
PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.

- How do I install a font?
After you unzip your font product files, you will see .OTF or .TTF files. To install a font, just double click on the OTF or TTF file. For more information, check out our Font FAQ.
If you’re still having trouble installing the font, please contact the Shop Owner or Creative Market Support.
- What software do I need to use this font?
When a font is installed on your computer, it can be used with any program that allows you to create text. Fonts will work in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe software, and almost any other program with a text editor. You can learn more in our Help Center about OTF special features and installing your new font.
Note: As an exception, OpenType SVG fonts / color fonts require Photoshop CC 18.0+, Illustrator CC 22.0.0+, or InDesign CC 13.0.1+. To learn more about installing color fonts, check out this Color Font FAQ.
